Hello whoever finds this first entry.
I am still employed and supposed to be working at home today, but like a child who will not do his homework, I find myself making this new blogsite.
Why am I not working?
Well, I am not ashamed to admit. It is because after 30+ years doing the same type of work, (I am an insurance adjuster; the guy who tells you how much money you are not going to get!) I am tired and jaundiced with this type of work, and perhaps a little bitter at the end of my career as to how I am being dictated to by people who I honestly believe have not a clue about integrity, decency, honour, christianity as it is supposed to be exercised.
Before you switch off because of the christianity thing, let me say I am not a bible thumping hypocrite, I just happen to believe in God, go to church on a regular basis, enjoy puzzling what we are here to do, and can't think of a better way of living my life with its' necessary rules and regulations.
Having said that, I can curse like a trooper, lose my temper, say things I later regret, tend to be impatient, enjoy looking at pretty females, and at times have a few drinks too many.
I do not break the law, steal, ring peoples' door bells and run away, create mayhem, or in general tell lies.
I try not to hurt people verbally, but do state my mind. This because I think we should discuss and speak up in our day to day contacts. To not do so is to live life like a wet noodle. I do not like people who do not answer back when they disagree with what I say. To me that is somewhat cowardly, almost dishonest.
Life has been interesting for me. I have done a lot, seen places off the beaten track, learned from my experiences, both good and bad.
As time goes on in this blog, I will probably bring up some of those experiences of life.
Right now, life is quite flat. I am in a back water, lacking in what I consider exciting and stimulating. Hopefully that will change in the next few months.
Mmmh.....Well that is a start and hear ends my first blog entry.
